This is the old town square in Prague. On the left: the town hall tower with the astronomical clock, in the middle: The Church of Our Lady Before Tyn and the blond girl: my friend Alzbeta.
Vista desde la Torre de la Municipalidad. La iglesia se fundó en el siglo XIV y se terminó de construir en el año 1511. Sí, mil quinientos quince!!!!! Es imponente hoy en día, no imagino el impacto que habrá generado en la gente de su época.
The view from the Town Hall Tower. The church was founded in the 14th century and it was completed in 1511. It´s impressive nowadays, I can´t imagine how it would have been «seen» at that time.

Still the old town square. At this moment we are OK with heights.
Praga tiene muchas iglesias y de diferentes estilos arquitectónicos. A Alzbeta le gusta el barroco y a mí el gótico así que negociábamos una y una.
Prague has many churches of different architectural styles. Alzbeta likes barroque and I prefer gothic so we negotiated our visits with turns.

La catedral, pero esta vez desde la torre Petrín en la colina que lleva el mismo nombre. Aunque los bautismos deben haber sido en orden invertido: primero la colina, después la torre.
The cathedral again but this time the picture was taken from Petrin Tower on the hill of the same name. Although I guess it was the other way around, the hill´s name should have come first.
Voilá, la torre de Petrín, el punto más alto de Praga. Nos hicimos las valientes y subimos las escaleras de esta mini Eiffel pero mientras estábamos arriba sacando fotos empezamos a notar que se movía. Nos asustamos, entramos en pánico y bajamos corriendo suplicando en tres idiomas: ella eslovaco, yo castellano y entre nosotras en inglés para compartir la angustia del momento.
Voilá, Petrin tower, the highest observation point in Prague. We pretended to be brave and climbed the stairs of this mini Eiffel. We were taking amazing pictures from the top when we realized that the tower was moving. We got scared, went into panic mode and descended running and begging in three different languages: her Slovak, my Spanish and our shared English.

Ya tranquilas en tierra firme paseamos por las calles de Praga.
Once we touched the ground we kept strolling around Prague.

Hubo una parada un poco larga en el puente. ¡No es fácil elegir «la» foto para decorar mi living!
